Setup 1:

• Show blitz
• Hot route the DE on the right

 

Setup 2:

• Base align
• Show blitz
• Global blitz the left-of-screen LB
• Hot route the DE on the right

 

Cover 3 Sky (Pressure Right)

 

• Base align
• Show blitz
• Global blitz LBs
• Contain
• Slide the slot LB

 

3 Sky Wk Show 4 (Pressure Both Ways)

 

• Base align
• Show blitz
• Global blitz the LBs
• Contain (vs mobile QB)
• Slide towards the slots

 

3-4 ODD Defense Formation:

There are 20 teams with this 3 – 4 Odd formation in Madden NFL 16.

 

Will Buck 3 Press

 

Setup 1:

• Base align
• Spread the D-line
• Slide the LBs to the slot
• User control the left of screen MLB

 

Setup 2:

• Base align
• Spread the D-line
• Re-blitz the left-of-screen DE
• Contain
• Control blitzing LB from the middle

 

Cover 3 Sky (Right Side)

 

Setup 1:

• Base align
• Spread the D-line
• Reblitz the DT
• Reblitz the ROLB and slide him out wide

 

Setup 2:

• Base align
• Spread the D-line
• Reblitz the DT
• Reblitz the right-of-screen DE
• Slide the right-of-screen LB out

Pinch Defense

Left Setup:

• Base align
• Show blitz
• Crash the D-line down
• Pinch the D-line
• Global blitz the left-of-screen LB.

 

Right Setup:

• Base align
• Show blitz
• Crash the D-line down
• Pinch the D-line
• Global blitz all LBs
• Re-zone the LB on the left of the screen

 

Left and Right Setup
