Top 5 Great Program Defense Players in Madden 16

There is no wrong way to build your Ultimate Team. At each Tier, you can find players that can be the difference between a win and a loss. Here are some great program players to look for on the offensive side of the ball.

5. CAMERON HEYWARD, PITTSBURGH STEELERS LE TEAM CAPTAINS

Key Ratings: 93 STR, 92 TAK, 91 POW, 93 PWM, 93 BKS, 91 PUR

Heyward almost didn’t make our Top 5. After further consideration we realized that he is one of the games most well rounded players. He does just about everything at a high level. 93 strength check. 91 hit power check. 93 power move check. 93 block shedding check.

 

4. DAMON HARRISON, NEW YORK JETS DT TEAM CAPTAINS

Key Ratings:  95 STR, 98 TAK, 98 BKS, 95 PUR

Harrison is the best run stopping player in MUT 16. He won’t be the best pass rusher, but he is a every down defensive tackle  in running situations.

 

3. MYCHAL KENDRICKS, PHILADELPHIA EAGLES MLB TEAM CAPTAIN

Key Ratings: 90 SPD, 94 TAK, 93 POW, 97 PUR

Take everything you loved about the gold tier Kendricks and make it way better. That’s what we have here with the Team Captain version of Kendricks. 

 

2. CARLOS RODGERS, SAN FRANCRISO 49ERS CB FLASHBACKS

Key Ratings: 92 SPD, 90 ACC, 90 MCV, 95 ZCV, 93 PRS

Essentially a carbon copy of Antrel Rolle, Rodgers gives you another option to have lockdown coverage on the outside. The combination of Rodgers and Rolle, on the outside, is the best cornerback duo in MUT 16.

Key Ratings: 92 SPD, 94 ACC, 96 MCV, 92 ZCV, 90 PRS

Rolle is the ideal cornerback in the current economy. He has no weakness as he can play man coverage, zone coverage, and press any receiver in the game. He even has 93 speed to hang with the games fastest receivers.
