Madden NFL 18 is an American football simulation game that has the exclusive license of the National Football League on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game was developed and edited by EA Tiburon and is part of the Madden NFL game series. Its release is announced for August 25, 2017. For the first time in the series, the franchise introduces a "Story" mode developed with the Frostbite game engine. However, the regular popular game mode, Madden Ultimate Team is also upgraded to a new level. In order to level up in the MUT mode, you need enough XP.

You can only get XP through your in-game performance. You will not be able to get XP from opening packs, finishing sets, or completing objectives. Also, there is some possibility that they will do a couple of DoubleXP days that will help you level up faster. The level cap is set to 30 and if you reach this level cap, then you will be provided with extra bonuses that isn’t available to all players. However, it is possible that they will increase the level cap as the months go by.

Everyone starts off at level 1, and the more you play, the higher your MUT level. In the early stages of leveling up, you will unlock things like the MUT champs(Draft champions) and H2H Seasons. As you start to be a higher MUT level, you might even unlock some special offers in the store or maybe unlock some special solos with good rewards.

Finally, here's a list for some in-game action that could earn you XP. The amount of XP you get depends on the scenario you are in. At the end of the game, you will see a XP screen that summarizes all the XP you earned and how you earned them. Some actions that can earn you XP:

• First solo challenge win of the day

• First H2H win of the day

• How many quarters you completed

• Margin of victory/margin of defeat

• Offensive yards gained

• Total team tackles

• Sacks and interceptions

Anyway, Madden NFL 18 has a lot of improvements, among which its debut with the Frostbite graphics engine, the first story mode of the game, Longshot, and a new way to make teams and face them from your friends in MUT Squads.
